Because I’m too busy studying to write.

Wikipedia is a gold mine of useful and useless information, depending on your opinion. Recently, I’ve found the following interesting:
- The official rules of shotgun – sure to settle many an arguement
- The Schmidt Pain Index, which compares the pain of different types of insect bites
- Deal or no deal, because some daytime television is fantastic
- The Golden Ratio, otherwise known as Phi
I’m still amazed at the level of detail of some the articles.
Also:
- A intricate and extremely well done time lapse. Very, very clever.
- Egg stacker. Never thought I’d write that..
- Buddhist Sand Art, created then dismantled to demonstrate the transience of life
- How to draw the Mona Lisa in MS Paint via Kottke
- The Chinese family who refused to sell their home to developers have finally given in.
- Ten things your restaurant will not tell you. Sometimes its better to know.
